This is a fine example of a 1963 Impala SS finished in Autumn Gold with an Ermine White roof. The car has all the Impala charm.
This was a stellar year for Chevrolet and General Motors capturing fifty percent of all vehicles sold in the United States in 1963. Even the Beach Boys Had a hit that year with their song “ She’s all mine my 409 “ The car has period correct hub caps and radial tires.
The car is very original and shows well, with an iconic 409 motor and factory floor mounted 4speed which by the way have just been rebuilt approximately 200 miles ago. The car does have Edelbrock valve covers, intake manifold and four-barrel carburetor and air cleaner. Although this car started out its life with a 283 V8 and an automatic transmission it has been transformed into a real performer.
Inside this Impala you will find a beautiful cream colored vinyl interior with bucket seats and original style console.
One of the many things I find so charming about this car is the way interior and exterior metal trim are such a nice subtle styling touch.
Also included are a cluster of aftermarket gauges tastefully mounted.
