Our seller has been the proud owner of this stunning ’65 GTO Convertible for almost twenty five years. As a retired former Pontiac Dealer in the Metropolitain Detroit area, he has always had a passion for the “right” collectable Pontiacs. We are pleased to offer this one from his collection. Although the presentation is “Show Quality” overall, the paint was refinished and any restoration work completed prior to his purchase in 1997. With a multiple car collection and very minimal use, he estimated that it has been driven less than 3,000 miles during his stewardship. The Body Plate Data Tag and Pontiac Historical Services (PHS) Documentation confirms that it was built and delivered as a Montero Red Convertible with Parchment Interior… it’s Beautiful! It has the perfect top down, summer weather Parchement trim interior with the White Convertible top. It is powered by the 389 CID, 360 Horsepower with Tri Power coupled to the 4 Speed Manual Transmission, documented on the PHS Car Billing History Card as how it left the factory.
