427 Engine Block #3869942 (2-Bolt Main) (cast date= 1965)
T0914IL (Tonawanda plant, September 14, 1965 original assembly date, 427-390HP (4-speed, ‘IL’ AIRS Suffix code) This BBC 1966 Chevrolet 427 engine (included but not currently installed) has a 6223 crankshaft believed to be turned 10-10. Stock resized connecting rods and new standard-bore replacement pistons. Solid lifter camshaft is a 427-425 HP spec. Cloyes true roller timing gears and chain. The engine apparently did not have many miles on it previously. Has a new oil pan with Mellings pump and oil pickup…
3872702 Cylinder Heads (65 and 1966 oval port, closed chamber, 2.19- and 1.88-inchvalves. Used on 396ci and 427ci engines.)
