Mustang was in its 3rd year by 1966 and continued to dominate the pony car market. This nice driver is a sharp representative of that legacy.
The red exterior and custom wheels really pop, and overall a great looking Mustang. The paint has a smooth gloss to it, and panel alignment is very good. The matt finish custom hood gives it a tougher look, and 289 V8 emblems warn those next to you it is no six-banger.
You will not be ashamed to pop this hood and show off the fast winding, rebuilt 289 V8 with 1100 miles on it. It sports a Holley 600 4Bbl., Edelbrock intake, double roller timing chain set, Petronix distributor, 3-row aluminum radiator, and connects to a Flowmaster X-pipe exhaust system. SSBC power front discs bring it to a stop. It looks great with the Ford Racing air cleaner and valve covers. There is even an aluminum Edelbrock water pump to keep things cool. The automatic transmission was rebuilt in October 2015.
The red & black interior is sporty, clean, and comfortable- classic Mustang. Driving is made easy with power brakes and power steering.
Overall a very presentable Mustang, ready to enjoy.
