Starts right up.
Motor and transmission runs butterball smooth. The tranny does leak a little when sitting but I have the gaskets in the trunk)
Has 42k and change miles.
I purchased it approximately 5 years ago, and at that time the car did not more since 1999.
I started to restore it: rebuilt carburetor, replaced all 6 shocks, replaced the entire brake system and some brake lines (New brake booster, new master cylinder, all new pads and wheel cylinders),
4 new tires.
The driver side hood corner pops up a little–I tried to remedy this with 2 new hood springs but did not work (but if have a replacement hinge in the truck –along with other trim pieces and misc parts),
Car drives straight.
Headlight doors work. Horn works. All windows work (but you need to use your hands to pick up the rear driver’s side back window when you bring it down).
Radio works but the speakers are shot.
AC clutch tries to engage but the system runs on freon that is unavailable (Needs to be converted).
The front floor pan was removed and replaced due to rust. Tiny rust on front of the hood.
Sounds beautiful when driving this car.
Due to financial situation, I must let her go.
