Here’s my 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu convertible a heavily upgraded resto-mod with just 2,900 miles shown. It’s powered by a built 496ci V8 with FiTech EFI, Edelbrock intake, MSD ignition, and a Flowmaster dual exhaust. A Tremec five-speed and Positraction 12-bolt rear with 3.90 gears put the power down right.
Finished in metallic gray with a black power soft top over red vinyl, this Chevelle has serious presence. It rides on 18 and 20-inch Ridler wheels with QA1 adjustable coilovers, CPP tubular control arms, and Wilwood disc brakes at all four corners.
Inside, it’s got power-adjustable red vinyl buckets, Hurst shifter, Classic Auto Air climate control, and a retro-look stereo with upgraded audio. A Centerforce clutch and Hotchkis suspension parts help it handle the power.
