This 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu SS Clone started off as a Texas car and was owned by a grandmother originally from new and then was sold to the grandson while in college and then sold to the 3rd owner. The car was then restored to its current resto/Original condition. The car was painted white with red stripes and is in great condition with a few small imperfections as you can see in the pictures. Chrome bumpers and quad headlights The interior is black and has been all redone and new padding in all of the seats and all door panels and seat backs are in great condition. This Chevelle does show 75k miles and we believe this to be true to the car.
Power is supplies by a 96 Vortec 350 with casting #906 Vortec heads- bowl blended- new valves/springs, screw in studs, guide plate, hardened retainers, comp 1.52 roller rockers. Comp Cams 08-432-8 Extreme Energy, Advanced intake duration-270, Exhaust -276, Lobe separation 110.0 degrees, Adv Lift, 495, 502 duration 218/224@0.50
Under the car are Ceramic coated polished full length headers hooked up to Flowmaster “American Thunder” Full exhaust. The engine is mated to 700-4R Automatic Heavy Duty Transmission. The rear end is Factory 12 Bolt posi 3.31:1 Ratio. New suspension with heavy front and rear swaybars, 15×8 295/50/15 in the rear 15-7 235/60/15 in the front Torq-thrust rims on BF Goodrich tires.
This Chevelle is a super easy car to drive with an electric fuel pump and electronic ignition it fires up on the first click. AC blows cold and with power steering, power 4 wheel disc brakes and automatic transmission you can jump in and just go. There is also an overdrive operated by a button for the HWY. The car also has a bluetooth vintage stereo hooked up to an amp in the trunk and 6X9 in factory location and a 10 inch subwoofer.
