Original factory El Camino SS 396 with TH400 auto. In very nice condition. Just out of long term dry storage. Runs and drives beautifully ( even though it was in storage this car was started up and driven a short distance once a week )
This is an original California built car and has lived in California all its life. Apart from original color change from light green to red, the car remains factory original with many factory options.

Overall this car is extremely straight and solid. However there is a flat spot on the hood (May buff out) and some very minor bubbling on the bottom of both front fenders and on both sides of rain gutters above doors. Although very solid the rear bed has some spots of paint cracking and again some minor bubbling. Structurally this car is very solid with no major rust issues. The paintwork as you can see from
the pictures is very good. All side trim, front and back bumpers and emblems relevant to the SS are straight and in very good condition. Bottoms of doors, tailgate etc are solid. Glass is in excellent condition. Same with interior it is perfect. Wheels and wheel trim are in excellent condition. The tyres are fairly old and could do with changing.
Engine runs very strong with good oil pressure. No leaks or rattles. Also it’s fitted with a nice pair of finned aluminum valve covers. Transmission changes smoothly. This is a very nice original big block El Camino which could benefit from a little tlc or just drive as is. Within the last week it’s developed a faulty driver’s door latch. I have one on order and hopefully will fit it. Otherwise it will come with the car. Clean title in my name and tagged to the end of the month.
