1968 Chrysler Imperial Crown SedanMessage me for a photo album of 150 pictures of the car including pictures of the underside on a lift.Sold new by Hessing Chrysler Plymouth in Boise, Idaho. This car was delivered November 10th in 1967. Original owners booklet shows maintenance notes until 1974. Current mileage reads 62,421. It appears the car spent a good portion of its life in storage. For the last 26 years it has been in storage in Washington State until I purchased it along with another car.We ended up doing quite a bit of maintenance to revive it after getting it out of its storage building.

Original owners pouch, booklet and info plate go with the car.

new air filterThe car is mostly original and the interior is very well preserved. The passenger carpet does show some staining. The metal trim through out the interior of the car does need some polishing as it shows its age and oxidation. The metal trim cover on the radio faceplate is missing. One of the doors has had its trim plate fall off but it is still there and included. The drivers window seems to work fine but the other windows are stiff and need servicing. They roll down with effort but need assistance to roll back up.The radio antenna has a broken mast and needs replacing. The radio itself powers up but I can’t seem to get stations. The paint is mostly average but there are definitely some poor spots. The worst spot being the passenger rear door which appears to have taken some damage at some point and it shows cracking and complete flaking in areas due to some body filler being put on it. The rest of the car show slots of little chips and dings throughout as you can see in the pictures. At some point some unfortunate owner decided to put yellow paint on all the rock chips! There are also signs of surface rust in various spots due to thin paint. I also noted a bit of an exhaust leak at the right side exhaust manifold so that gasket should be replaced. The brake booster vacuum check valve needs replacing and I have one on order that should arrive within a week. The right rear fender has some impressions on it and also some areas of thin paint where surface rust has shown up.The tail light on the passenger side has some chrome fins broken off but I have a spare one that has no broken fins on it the buyer can have if they remind me. The replacement does have some pitting but it is undamaged fin wise. I am sure there are some other small issues I am forgetting, but please request the photo album take a look at the photos so you can get a good idea of the car before purchasing. Now on to the good news. There is absolutely no rust underneath this car. Please message me for the photo album and you can see how solid the car is underneath. The headliner, carpets (besides the small staining in the passenger footwell) and fabric seats are in amazing shape for their age. They are very well preserved. The dash is also original and has no cracks in it. The rear parcel tray looks new as well. The original rubber floor mats are included with the car as well but not photographed. It does fire up nicely when cold after a few pumps of the accelerator pedal. The steering does seem a bit loose and she tends to wander a bit on the road but she drives quite nicely and gets a lot of looks. This is a great driver quality car that can be taken to the next level with cosmetics. It is extremely hard to find one of these without serious rust issues.Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
