The Coronet line, which shared platform with the Belvedere and Charger, received a complete redesign in 1968 and the convertible models in particular feature a lot of typical Mopar muscle character as well as style.
This Coronet 500 for sale features a tasteful restoration inside and out starting with an expensive Black Dupont paintjob that gives the car a sleek and glossy look and really accents the clean body lines of this car. American Racing 18″ wheels look awesome on this Mopar and the Black vinyl convertible top with new assembly and rear glass is in good condition.
Under the hood is a built 440 CID V8 engine with some smart and quality upgrades such as an aluminum radiator, MSD ignition system, Edelbrock performance heads, aluminum intake manifold, 4bbl Holley carburetor and Hooker exhaust headers. This Coronet convertible wouldn’t be complete without suspension, handling and braking upgrades; that’s what you get thanks to components such as the Hotchkiss subframe and 4-wheel Wilwood drilled and slotted disc brakes.
