1968 Ford Mustang Fastback GT500E “Eleanor”

This is a REAL 1968 Fastback with Vin#8R02J125394. It was built to be full show and go, incorporating all of the best old and new technology. This build started from a VERY solid and real 68 V8 Fastback. The final build is very fresh, only having about 60 miles on the engine. The car has been detailed inside and out and underneath to be appealing everywhere you look. From the REAL 428 Cobra Jet to the GT interior to the adjustable suspension, it has it ALL.

EXTERIOR:

The iconic gray and black paint combo shines over the this 68 Fastback. The fiberglass hood is a slight variation in style from your normal build but adds a ton of character to the front. Billet hood pins hold the hood down. Unlike other builds, you will find REAL working upper side scoops that feed into the rear seat vents. Also, the lower scoops add depth by having real “pockets” and not a flat finished surface. The LeMans gas fill is real and working. All brake, turn, reverse, and fog bulbs are LED (except headlights to keep old “yellow” light look).

ENGINE and ENGINE BAY:

Engine was just professionally balanced and assembled. Super clean and detailed from top to bottom. Engine bay has the shock towers removed. All wiring has been relocated and hidden. All holes were filled and smoothed to create an area for the engine to be the spotlight. This includes the color matched matte finish engine bay and stripes down the firewall. The heater motor and hoses were also deleted for a cleaner look.

There is a small flaw in the driver side reverse light housing bodywork. It is barely noticeable as seen in the pics but wanted to mention it. I have the original VIN door tag but it has been replaced with a new Marti tag. There are probably details that are missing from the list. Please ask for any additional pictures, info, videos, etc.

As you can see from this list and pictures, it will be hard to find another with every detail covered in the build. The car also comes with a custom fit satin/fleece car cover that is form fit.
