Chevrolet had just redesigned what would become a legend in the automotive world a year prior in 1968. The wheelbase had been shortened by 3 inches and the rubber increased to help the car be nimbler and grip off the line and in the corners. With a semi-fastback, flowing roofline that mimicked the notorious Camaro; it really gave the Chevelle a great stance!
This example has been in the same hands since 1986! Purchased from a well-known collector before, its only had 3 owners. The mileage is believed to be the original.
This car is a true SS ALL NUMBERS MATCHING with a 396ci V8 mated to a 4-speed manual transmission with a Hurst Shifter!
