This 1969 Chevelle looks amazing in Maroon with a black SS stripe running down each side. The clear coat finish has been color sanded to perfection and has a very glossy finish. It has nice fit and finish and looks very straight down the sides. The door jambs have a glossy finish as well. It has new weather stripping, window seals, door handles and emblems. The front bumper and grill look excellent, the front and rear bumper have been re-chromed. All the brightwork has been polished and all the trim looks amazing. The glass shows well with its factory tinted glass. It rides on a set of 14×7 factory SS wheels and a set of 225/70/14 BFG T/A raised white letter radial tires.
The interior is very exceptional. It has new seat upholstery and foam, new headliner, carpet and door panels. The whole dash area is in excellent condition. There is a tilt steering column with a factory SS steering wheel mounted on it. The dash pad is in good condition, no cracks. The heater controls slide with ease. It has a retro AM/FM radio. There are new sill plates and also original GM seat belts.
The engine compartment is nicely detailed with a period-correct 396ci/325hp motor, with casting number 3916323 ED suffix code, that has been completely rebuilt. It runs exceptionally well. It has a few performance upgrades, Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold with Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor, Mallory HEI distributor for reliability, ceramic coated headers, Chevrolet valve covers, clutch fan and a new 4-core radiator. It also features power front disc brakes, new Delco Moraine cadmium plated power brake booster with new dual master cylinder. It is finished in a nice black satin.
The undercarriage is clean. The front suspension and steering components have been completely rebuilt-bushings, ball joints, springs, etc. It has 4 new shocks, all new fuel and brake lines. It has factory style dual exhaust with cowbell tips running out the rear of the car. There is a 12-bolt posi rear end with a new set of 3:73 gears and boxed in control arms with rear sway bar. The floors are clean and have a coat of black satin for a nice clean factory look.
The trunk is like the rest of the Chevelle, rock solid and all clean metal. It was finished with a coat of the exterior color and carpet laid down, which can be easily removed. It has a spare tire, a complete jack assembly, posi and jacking instruction decals on the bottom of the trunk lid.
This Chevelle is an absolute pleasure to drive and is exceptionally nice to look at!
