Here is a beautiful example of a restored 1969 Plymouth GTX where it appears that a substantial amount of money was spent in the restoration. According to the previous owner, this vehicle underwent a frame off restoration approximately 10-12 years ago but is still in magnificent condition. The total restoration cost is unknown, and no receipts or documentation were provided. In my estimation, it would easily cost $150k to restore this vehicle in today’s market, would take years to restore and that’s assuming you can find all the parts. Since being restored, this vehicle was part of a private collection and was only driven occasionally. It’s my opinion, this vehicle was restored to a high-quality however, I encourage you to conduct your own inspection to determine if the restoration quality meets your expectation and DO NOT rely solely on my opinion.
