Built by Bowler Performance Transmissions, the car’s tough Tremec T56 Magnum spins a fresh, 8.8-inch pumpkin, which mixes a proven WaveTrac differential with big, 4.10 gears. That drivetrain rides in a MIG-welded replica of Shelby’s legendary MKIII, which employs a fully independent suspension. Unisteer power rack-and-pinion steering makes low-speed cruising almost as easy as high-speed sweeps. Hydro-boosted Wilwood calipers, 6-piston up front and 4-piston out back, clamp 14-inch carbon ceramic rotors. Power meets the pavement through 3-piece HRE wheels, which twist 315/30ZR18 BF Goodrich g-Force Rivals in front of 335/30ZR18 BF Goodrich g-Force Rivals. And Davis Technologies traction control augments the car’s perfect 50/50 weight distribution and tidy 2,531-pound dry weight.
