Up for auction is a running and driving project car. It isn’t quite road worthy yet, but with a little work, it could be. It retains the original 425 engine and TH400 automatic transmission. The engine runs good and the transmission has a leak, but shifts good as well. Dual exhaust. Recent front and rear wheel cylinders and front brake hose, so the brakes do work. Also, a recent tune up and Holley 600 carb rebuild. The original carb comes with. This is super solid car, having lived it’s life on the west coast and most recently in dry central Oregon. As usual on GM cars, there is rust around the rear window (trunk and floors are rust free) and then more rust under the battery support/radiator support area. No rust on the rockers or any other body panels besides back window and battery area. Glass is all there, trim is all there, the original body panels are there with no body filler (although the trunk and passenger fender have been changed with Jetstar 1 parts). The original trunk lid and passenger fender are included, along with another great usable Jetstar 1 front driver fender. The trunk (no lock cylinder) and fender were replaced because of dents, not rust. The rims are just 15×8 C10 truck rallies and the BFG tires hold air, nothing special. There is a wiring problem causing the power seats, power windows, wipers, radio and factory tach not to function. The driver door panel was removed for inspection, and then not put back on. I am including a fantastic set of black Jetstar 1 interior panels. It wouldn’t take too much work to make the interior all black. Headliner is coming apart at the seams and the seats are in need of recovering. Overall, a pretty complete, solid old car. Excellent frame. Needs a rear bumper for sure and the front will need re-chromed. Angry wife forces sale. Not enough room and too many projects. Total bummer because this is a cool car. I can help load the car for transport or help you load it if you bring your own trailer. Please ask questions. Clear and current title in my name. The opening bid is the reserve, so happy bidding.
